Fox Rodney has released its latest report reviewing the London Private Equity Law Firm market from 1st January to 30th June 2023.
Economic and political challenges have remained during the first half of this year, but lateral partner hiring in this area appears to be slightly up on last year.
Highlights from the report include:
- 17 partner moves across Private Equity in private practice compared with 15 partner moves last year;
- 24% of partner moves were female and 76% were male;
- 6% of moves were from in-house to private practice; and
- Between law firms, 94% were lateral partner moves and 6% were Day 1 partner moves.
