Fox Rodney announces new board and executive appointment

Leading international legal search consultancy Fox Rodney announces the appointment of Alastair Da Costa to its board and executive team. Alastair has also purchased a shareholding in Fox Rodney.

Alastair joined the Fox Rodney team towards the end of last year and he will succeed Founder Stephen Rodney as Executive Chair early in 2023. Both Stephen and Co-Founder Adrian Fox will remain fully engaged with Fox Rodney, with their focus on continuing client development.

Alastair has a background of senior leadership in the legal, professional services and education sectors. He trained as a corporate lawyer with Slaughter and May, was a partner, global board, and executive member of DLA Piper for several years, including running the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions for DLA Piper, and recently he was an Executive Director and Partner in an international intellectual property services business. In addition, Alastair has been involved at a senior level with executive search and leadership development consultancies and he is Chair of the University of Leeds and Chair of Capital City College Group, respectively leading higher education, and further education institutions. Between 2018-2021 Alastair served as a Commissioner to the Government’s Social Mobility Commission.

In joining Fox Rodney, Alastair’s focus will be to build on these excellent foundations, to look for new areas of growth and to build a longer-term sustainable succession plan for the business.
